Private trackers are available only on close torrent websites. These sites are not meant for public usage. Sure, it consists of users like us but it’s a gated community that only a particular number of members can join. The best part about these private trackers is that you get quality free indie content that you can download at an amazing speed. Most of the private torrent trackers have strict guidelines that ensure that almost all the free indie content on the platform is well-seeded.

Today, we’re reviewing one such platform known for its free indie content library and interactive community. The tracker I’m referring to is none other than ToTheGlory or TTG.

What is ToTheGlory?

ToTheGlory or TTG is a popular Chinese HD tracker site with both internal and external encodes. TTG is the ultimate platform for finding the best quality free indie content. It’s been more than a decade since TTG first began its journey and it has definitely come a long way. Indie gamers know all about TTG and that’s the reason why it’s the biggest download station in China.

Is ToTheGlory safe?

For a torrent site to be safe for browsing, it needs to have an SSL certificate, which ToTheGlory does have. By using tools such as SEOQuake and MOZ, you can easily check the credibility of a website by gauging Domain Score (DS) and Trust Score (TS). Based on my research, ToTheGlory has a domain score of 16 and a trust score of 31 which is quite impressive. Sure, it’s not uncommon for torrent sites to have a DS less than 15 and a TS less than 40. But given that TTG has been able to surpass a DS of 15, it’s a sign that you can trust the content and the members of this community.

What should you expect from ToTheGlory?

Freeleech Torrents – All internals on TTG are 100% freeleech for a certain time. Usually, this period can vary between 6-48 hours. So, users with great standing on the platform can easily make the most of this period. Once the given duration surpasses, the torrent becomes 30%-50% freeleech. Due to this freeleech philosophy and bonus system, maintaining a good ratio is super simple. The only caveat is that not everybody can be a part of this platform since the entry is restricted.

Interactive Forum – Forums are pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of a community. Members who have certain queries can post those on forums and get answers in no time. ToTheGlory, similar to other private trackers has a super interactive forum section where users can talk about various topics and if they have any query, can post it on the forum.

At the same time, fellow users with knowledge about the subject ‘Movies’, ‘TV’, ‘Polls’, ‘Games’, ‘Devices’, and share their insights. Other than these categories, there are various other threads such as ‘General’, ‘Requests’, ‘Upload Offers’, ‘Bug Reports’, ‘Questions’, ‘Shows’, ‘Technical’, and ‘Invite Requests’ that are bifurcated in a manner to provide a quick solution to the end-user.

User Hierarchy – Everybody wants to be at the top, but not everyone is willing to work. Private torrents require dedication, interaction, and constant contribution. As a member, you’ll need to be an active part to be able to climb up the ladder. When you start your journey on TTG, you start as a normal user, later you get to interact with DevOps such as ‘Wiki’, ‘DoA’, ‘Sub Editor’, ‘Helper’, ‘Uploader’, ‘Forum Moderator’, ‘Moderator’, ‘Admin’, and ‘SysOP’.

Ratio Maintenance – The quality of free indie content and the downloading experience relies on the seed-to-leech ratio. That’s the reason why mods stress on maintaining a good ratio. As a user, it is your responsibility to seed the free indie content once you download it. And seeding is not really hard on ToTheGlory as Freeleech opens for specific torrents from time to time. Maintaining a positive ratio impacts your overall standing within the community.

Bonus Systems – I’ve to admit that ToTheGlory’s bonus system is not the most generous one out there. However, your participation and contribution is rewarded. You can make the most of actions such as ‘Seeding an old torrent’, ‘filling up requests’, ‘completing jobs on board’, ‘engaging on forums/polls’, and even browsing on the website can help you win random gold rewards. Once you’ve accumulated a certain amount of gold, you can use it to improve your position within the community.

Date Based User Classes: There are various user classes on TTG based on the storage capacity. Each class gets a tailor-made experience based upon the upgrade. At the time of writing this review, there were 12 levels – Byte, KiloByte, MegaByte, GigaByte, TeraByte, PetaByte, ExaByte, ZettaByte, YottaByte, BrontoByte, NonaByte, and DoggaByte.

ToTheGlory in numbers

ToTheGlory is a large community that has tons of torrents. The total torrent data on this site exceeds 1.89 PB. Since starting its journey back in 2009, the active traffic has downloaded more than 195 PB of data from this website. At the time of writing this review, ToTheGlory had 40 members who were warned and are on the brink of being banned from the community.

As per the Alexa rankings, ToTheGlory is ranked #11,808 which makes it amongst the top 15,000 websites on the internet. It attracts more than 250,000 visits a month and an average visit on the site lasts for more than 2 minutes. An average user visits 3 pages before bouncing off the website. In terms of engagement, ToTheGlory does surpass all my expectations. Due to the incredible user interaction, it is able to maintain a commendable bounce rate at 37.6%.

How to access ToTheGlory?

You can access ToTheGlory by searching for the term ‘ToTheGlory’ in your search engine. Alternatively, if you want to access the platform directly, you can use the following link: ToTheGlory.

ToTheGlory, though super powerful, isn’t the most appealing website. There are plenty of other sites that are way better when it comes to design. And that’s because it sports a generic design with not a single element capable of steering your attention. I was hoping that the thumbnails would make up for the poor color combination, but much to my dismay, the website is text-heavy with little to no rich media.

ToTheGlory has tons of free indie torrents which makes it amongst the most gigantic private trackers in China.

Desktop/Mobile experience

Though the website lacks visual appeal, browsing the website and downloading free indie content from this platform is quite seamless. That’s because members usually maintain an overall ratio of 1.0. There are more than 500,000 seeders as opposed to 9,400 leechers. This indicates that most members who download the free indie content seed it successfully.

Suggestions I have for ToTheGlory

ToTheGlory is an excellent platform. With a major design overhaul, I’m sure it’ll be able to compete with the best private trackers out there.

If you love downloading the free indie movies, free indie music, free indie games, and free indie documentaries, you’ll definitely love ToTheGlory. It has a great community with an outstanding seed-to-leech ratio which allows you to download large files within a short period.
