Introduction

Not all torrent sites are created equal. If you have a lot of experience with torrenting, then, chances are, you already know this well. In fact, there are a lot of torrent sites on the web which are poorly designed, clunky to use, not mobile friendly, unsafe, and just plain sketchy. Plus, even the ones that are decently put together and safe are not reliable.

You may have noticed that big torrent index sites like The Pirate Bay are often down. Whether these sites are offline for repairs, updates, or because they had to, yet again, move domains to avoid being shut down, it sometimes feels impossible to find a reliable and trustworthy torrent site that you can count on 100% of the time.

Maybe in your quest to find the best torrent gaming sites you have come across the world of private torrent trackers. These sites are reliable, safe, and often have thousands of healthy and well seeded torrent downloads, sure, but they come with plenty of their own downsides as well. Private torrent trackers are, for starters, very exclusive. Most of them are invite only … and even the ones that aren’t are likely to have unrealistic ratio requirements. If you don’t keep your stats up to par, you risk having your account limited or, worse, disabled.

If you are not a veteran of torrenting (with a proven track record), private torrent trackers are probably not going to be your best bet. Don’t worry, though, there are alternatives out there for downloading video games that don’t ask you to devote all of your time and energy in exchange for free game downloads.

Any of the open, public video game torrent sites found here, for example, are great places to start. I only list the best of the best torrents, no matter which of my lists you are looking at, so quality is something that you never have to worry about. At a baseline level, all of the gaming torrent sites found here are worthy of your time. The question is, which one is going to be best for you.

Some of the sites that I have the pleasure of reviewing, though, are simply unparalleled. This is definitely the case with Gamers Maze. I have never come across a torrent site quite like it, no matter what kind of torrents we are talking about. This site is easily the most professional, user-friendly, and effective gaming torrent sites I have ever seen. In fact, I am tempted to say that this one could be the best gaming torrent site that I have reviewed as of yet – at least if we are talking about presentation.

It is rare to come across a gaming torrent site that offers impeccable site design, thousands of gaming torrent downloads, a helpful and caring customer service line, and some unique original products of its own to boot. Gamers Maze is better than so many gaming torrent sites because it goes beyond merely providing video game torrent downloads. It is one of the only torrent websites that I have found that focuses on customer facing distribution and game development as well.

If you are looking for the torrenting equivalent of a site like Steam, well, look no further. Gamers Maze really comes very close to ticking all of the boxes of the best video game torrenting site. But don’t just take my word for it, let’s dive in and take a closer look at everything that Gamers Maze has to offer, shall we? We have a lot of ground to cover.

Design

I am prepared to say that I have never come across a torrent site, gaming or otherwise, with a better site design than Gamers Maze. When you first land on this site’s home page, it would be hard to tell it was a torrent site to begin with (if you were not already aware). It looks more like a gaming news site or exceptional blog.

The site is so sleek, so modern, so intuitive, so responsive, so experiential, and, frankly, it is just so much fun to use. I can see myself coming back to this site every day, just to browse (even if I am not in need of a game torrent at the time) – it’s that good. This site has clearly taken a page out of the Netflix playbook in terms of design, just take a look at its extremely browsable layout.

The first thing that you are likely to notice when you land on Gamers Maze is its prominent banner, which carousals various featured games. Below that, content is broken into categories. Browse by genre, newest games, more featured games, and games that are to come to the site soon.

At every scroll of Games Maze, you’ll find an entry point. Keep heading down the home page, for example, and find an easily accessible list of genre tags to click into, as well as a second search bar. Talk about intuitive site design, it is impossible not to become a pro at navigating this gaming torrent site immediately.

Ever fixed at the very top of the site, no matter how deep in you have traveled, is a slender and responsive site menu bar. This is nice and concise, too, offering up Home, Categories (with anelegant dropdown list), Our Products, and Contact. I normally at least have one complaint about a gaming torrent site’s design. I cannot seem to find a flaw with Gamers Maze, though.

Content and Features

The site continues to impress once you click on a title. Each game comes complete with just about everything that you could need to know about it. This is sort of where Gamers Maze differentiates itself from most gaming torrent sites. It fronts as a gaming database (where you can also download gaming torrents). Perhaps this is how the site gets away with being so customer service forward (whereas other gaming torrent sites feel the need to hide in the shadows).

Each game comes with a complete description, screenshots, system requirement info, and a trailer (if available). To the right of all of this, too, you will find a list of trending games, an easily accessible list of comments, and a list of latest games (all of which can be accessed in one box by a clean and intuitive tabs menu). You’ll also find recommended games based on your current selection. Gamers Maze seems to have thought of everything!

Well, almost everything. My one major complaint with this site is the fact that it does not include any torrent specs. You cannot, in other words, see how many seeds and leeches a given game torrent has before downloading it. As someone who likes to shop around for the healthiest torrents, this is a bit of a downer … but I am willing to look the other way given how great literally every other aspect of this gaming torrent site is.

The other thing that is wholly unique (as far as I know) to Gamers Maze is the fact that they also have developed their own series of games. Their latest release, The Last of Us Part II can be purchased on the site. Not only that, the game can also be bought with some pretty impressive merch bundles that would be the envy of even some of the biggest games.

You can simply buy the game (for PC or PS4), or you can buy the collector’s edition, which comes with figurines, a Dark Horse collectors book, pins, a commemorative thank you letter, soundtrack, 12” statue of the main character, and a custom PS4 theme. Hell, there is even a Last of Us pro bundle available, which comes complete with a Last of Us themed PS4, dual shock 4 controller, and limited-edition gold wireless headset. Name one other gaming torrent site that has anything close to that available … I’ll wait.

Mobile and Desktop Experience

Unsurprisingly, given the overall quality of the desktop site, the mobile site is every bit as good. It is a perfectly optimized mobile site that will make for user-friendly and intuitive browsing no matter what device you happen to be on. This site is truly flawless on any and every screen.

Of course, you probably won’t be doing any actual gaming torrenting on the mobile site (unless you have a remote trigger setup), but that doesn’t mean that you can’t browse in your spare time while you are away from home – and you’ll have an excellent mobile browsing experience while doing so.
