Introduction
Private trackers that are restricted to a specific geographical location have a limited number of members and torrents. We’ve seen this with many torrent sites such as CZTorrents, PolishSource, and TurkTorrents. On the contrary, there are some country-specific torrent sites specifically from countries such as China, Russia, and India that have hundreds of and thousands of users. These torrents offer content in their native language but they cover all types of content. Today, we’ll be reviewing a popular torrent tracker called M-Team TP.
What is M-Team?
M-Team is one of the most renowned HD Chinese trackers on the internet. It has an extensive torrent library filled with amazing free indie content. You’ll even find tons of free indie titles in 4K quality on this particular platform. What makes this site so amazing is its incredible seed-to-leech ratio that allows users to download free HD quality indie content in no time. Most of the free 4K quality indie content uploaded on various Chinese tracker sites are often sourced from M-Team. The untouched discs i.e. BD/4K are first uploaded here.
M-Team is quite serious about its community and thus has strict entry rules. Every person who’s invited to the community needs to undergo an assessment. Before that, the inviter needs to meet the criteria i.e. upload about 20 GB content, Download 15 GB content, and gather Bonus Points of 4500 or more. In addition to these ways, users can make a donation and if they do so they need not go through the newbie exam.
Is M-Team safe?
For a torrent site to be safe for browsing, it needs to have an SSL certificate, which M-Team does have. By using tools such as SEOQuake and MOZ, you can easily check the credibility of a website by gauging Domain Score (DS) and Trust Score (TS). Based on my research, M-Team has a domain score of 13 and a trust score of 31 which is better than most sites out there. Sure, it’s not uncommon for torrent sites to have a DS less than 15 and a TS less than 40. But given that M-Team started its journey in 2012, I’d be far happier if the DS was above 20.
What should you expect from M-Team?
Bonus Points – Karma Points or bonus points are an integral part of any private tracker. M-Team is no different in that regard. There are points attached to every contribution. You can earn points by uploading, seeding, and participating in polls and you can spend them on the custom title, charity, and invites. For instance, if you want a custom title, you need to have 5,000 bonus points. Similarly, if you want to invite someone, you need to have 80,000 bonus points.
User Class – Similar to other popular private trackers, M-team too has a user class. The benefits of each of these classes are directly related to the role. First, you become a member of the community, then as you participate and contribute free indie content, you can rise up the ranks in the following order: Power User, Elite User, Crazy User, Insane User, Veteran User, Ultimate User, Nexus Master, VIP, Retiree, Uploader, Moderator, Administrator, SysOp, and Staff Leader. Among these places, VIP has higher benefits primarily because they are the key donators.
Ratio Maintenance – Most private trackers have unrealistic expectations from their users. Not only do they want the users to be active but also to post requests and maintain an over-the-top seed-to-leech ratio. When it comes to maintaining ratio, M-Team is as demanding as other popular torrent sites. However, they do offer a considerable amount of freeleech events that you can capitalize on to build a decent ratio. Having said that, M-Team can still improve a lot in this specific area as the competing websites do offer a lot of freeleech torrents which makes the ratio maintenance super simple.
Torrent Uploads – In order to request a torrent, win an upgrade to the power user, you need to be active on the platform. One of the best ways to win plenty of bonus points is by uploading and seeding torrents. Uploading a torrent is like the highest contribution you can make and you can do so by using the torrent upload page. On this page, you can choose the file, select a category, choose a year, and other variables to upload successfully.
M-Team in numbers

It attracts more than 400,000 visits a month and an average visit on the site lasts for more than 8 minutes. An average user visits 6 pages before bouncing off the website. In terms of engagement, M-Team does surpass all my expectations. Due to the incredible user interaction, it is able to maintain a commendable bounce rate at 25%.
How to access M-Team?
You can access M-Team by searching for the term ‘M-Team.cc’ in your search engine. Alternatively, if you want to access the platform directly, you can use the following link: M-Team.
Design
M-Team has a substandard design. By no means does it look like something from 2020 or even 2016. It’s funny how even though the website looks outdated, it’s super clean. I guess it’s the blue color combination that makes it look outdated. As for the content placement, buttons, and user options, it’s as good as any top site.
Header – M-Team has a packed header section with 20 options – Home, Forums, BET, 4K, Movies, TV, Torrents, Music, Adult, Collages, Artist, Seek, Others, Upload, Subtitles, User CP, FAQ, Staff, and Waterfall. On top of these options towards the right, you can also find the Donate button which you can use to become a VIP member.
Content – M-Team with over 35,000 members has a magnanimous free indie content library. It has tons of torrents. Its extensive free indie content library is spread across various content categories. More than 88 PB data has been downloaded from the site.
M-Team’s vast free indie content catalog with tons of torrents is spread across various genres. Most of the torrents on the site are available in 1080p and 1080i quality. However, you’ll find many free indie titles in SD and 4K quality as well.
Desktop/Mobile experience
M-Team’s layout works well on desktop and fits the screen aspect ratio from end-to-end. However, it’s not as cutting edge as some of the top websites out there. One particular feature that most of these tracking sites lack is a responsive website. They often skip the mobile responsiveness part and focus on providing a purely desktop-based experience. In this day and age, that’s like giving up on 70-80% of the traffic. People love to download free indie content using their phone. However, maneuverability gets complicated because it often leads to misclick and M-Team is no different.
Suggestions I have for M-Team
There are tons of positive aspects of this website, however, it’s the negative ones that bother me the most. While I do not have a problem with high ratio standards, I believe that by adding multiple language support, this website has the potential to become a global phenomenon.
Conclusion
If given a chance, you should try this private torrent tracker without any hesitation. The only shortcoming is that its interface is in the Chinese language. So, if you don’t have basic knowledge of Mandarin, you’ll have a hard time understanding content on the platform.
