What should you expect from the Anime Torrents?

Forum & Engagement – Part of what makes a community legit is its following. You know you can trust a community that has 36,000 members as it’s not easy to become one. Why? Because Anime Torrents is an invite-only website. This means that you cannot become a member as per your wish. However, once you do, there’s plenty of amazing content that will keep you glued to the forum. Anime Torrents has a dedicated forum wherein, you have various options such as ‘Meet and Greet’, ‘AnimeZ Lounge’, ‘Avistaz Network Invites’, ‘and ‘Geek Lounges’.

Dedicated Subtitles – As I mentioned earlier, Anime Torrents offers content with English subtitles. However, once I dug deeper, I realized that it not only offers free indie content in English but also in Arabic, Hungarian, Spanish, Italian, French, and German languages. You will find all about it when you access a title. You’ll find details including the Torrent Name, Description, Upload Date, Size, and Subtitles.

Bonus Points Exchange – A major benefit of being a part of an exclusive community is that it doesn’t follow the mainstream ways. Anime Torrents has its own programs and events for its members. An interesting one that I found was the ‘Bonus Points Exchange’ program. Here, you can exchange your seeder-bonus with fellow members of the community. Upload credit exchange limit is specified along with Invitation Exchanges and Transfer Bonus Points. If you want to be a part of this community, you will need an insider source willing to give up his/her credit to get you in.

Torrent Uploading – Torrent uploading is a novel cause in the world of torrenting. Thankfully, it’s not as hard as it may appear at first. You have a dedicated form wherein you have to fill out information such as ‘FileName’, ‘Covers’, ‘Torrent File’, ‘Screenshots’, ‘Category’, ‘Tags’, ‘Languages’, ‘YouTube URL’, and other important details.

Torrents Ranking – I know this may sound strange but on Anime Torrents, you get to access various types of Torrents that are classified as per their size. A file above 15 GB in size is considered as a Gold Torrent. A file between 8 GB to 15 GB in size is considered as a Silver Torrent. For your upload to be considered as a gold or silver torrent, you need to make it available for free on the platform. Apart from the torrent classification, you also get Torrent Multiplier benefits wherein, you get 2x to 10x returns based upon the file size.

Donation Packages – I’ve never seen a donation package on a torrent site as simplified as this one. There are five different options – 1 Month VIP for $10, 2 Month VIP for $20, 6 Month VIP for $50, 1 Year VIP for $100, and Lifetime VIP for $200. In each package, you get a certain upload credit, bonus point, and a new bonus point ranging between 400 and 30,000 respectively.

Design

I have mixed feelings when it comes to Anime Torrents’ design. It has contemporary elements but at the same time, it does have some outdated sections too. For instance, the logo looks dated. And the header section with gradients looks like some website that was designed a decade ago. At the same time, the body section has a flat design which gives you a modern vibe.

Header

The header section of the website has seven main options – ‘Home’, ‘Torrents’, ‘IRC Chat’, ‘Forums’, ‘Register’, ‘Login’, and ‘RSS Feed’. It has a black and white gradient which gives it a gray background. Overall, it looks olde worlde, to be honest.

Inner Pages

Inner pages look good. They follow the standard set by the hero sections on the homepage. By clicking on any thumbnail on the homepage, you’ll be able to access the inner pages. I like the design of the inner page along with the information on it.

Content

With tons of titles, it’s fair to say that Anime Torrents does have an extensive free indie content library.

Desktop/Mobile experience

The seed/leech ratio on this website is great and thus, the download is super smooth. If you have an internet connection of 16 Mbps or more, you’ll be able to download 1-1.5 GB files within 10 minutes. The overall browsing and navigation experience is smooth since there are no ads or redirection. After all, that’s what you get when you’re part of a donation-based website.

Suggestions I have for Anime Torrents

Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about this community. It’s super active and has amazing members, however, I would love it if the mods and devs emphasized on revamping the graphics on the website, especially the homepage.

Conclusion

Anime Torrents is a great private community for anime lovers. Right now, it just works on an invite-only basis. Thus, in order to be a part of this community, you’ll need to get in touch with someone who not only is a part of this community but also has active points for a recommendation.
